His music and lyrics are awesome! He puts everything he has into his music! He definitely was a great fit in the 80's music era.

"I have a problem with reviewers who probably have all of their favorite artist(s)' albums and go on record complaining that this song or that song wasn't on the "greatest hits" or "best-of" collection. I was a fan of Eddie Money's from the beginning, and was a little surprised to find that one reviewer thought his debut album was lame. I for one thought it was a super start to his career, with a couple of huge hit singles (the shorter single version of "Two Tickets" is even hotter than the album version...good luck finding it outside of eBay or one of those places you find in Goldmine that specialize in 45RPM singles only, if you find a copy of that one, it's worth your effort to track it down...if you're wondering, it isn't an edited version but a total remake with more guitars and more harmonies).

The additional tracks: Peace in Our Time, Stop Steppin' On My heart, Looking Thru the Eyes of a Child and the live version of Where's the Party are all typically radio-friendly Eddie Money tracks (that is definitely NOT a complaint) that show him in his element of being a rock-solid performer. His live shows, of which I've seen several, will put any doubt aside. If you have all the original albums these songs came from, the bonus material makes this one worth your money. I'm still a fan and it's all good."
One of the better Eddie Money compilations

"Being only a casual Eddie Money fan, I picked up this cd years ago just to get the favorites that I would often hear on the radio. Recently I've been considering purchasing one of the newer compliations (last year's best of or the new Essential cd) in order to get a better range of his songs and also to get the remastered versions of some of my favorites. Having not listened to this cd in quite a while, I took this one of the cd rack and had a listen. Most of these songs are still great and still hold up today. Here's a song-by-song rating:1) Baby Hold On - 5 stars
2) Two Tickets To Paradise - 5 stars
3) Peace In Our Time - 5 stars
4) Where's The Party? (Live) - 2 stars (poor attempt at an anthem-type song)
5) I Wanna Go Back - 5 stars
6) Walk On Water - 3 stars (okay song but I don't think this one holds up as well because it sounds a little too 80's-ish)
7) Shakin' - 5 stars
8) Take Me Home Tonight - 5 stars
9) Think I'm In Love - 5 stars
10) Looking Through The Eyes of A Child - 4 stars
11) No Control - 1 star (probably the worst song on the cd)
12) We Should Be Sleeping - 2 star (just feel this one is mediocre even though it is uptempo)
13) Stop Steppin' On My Heart - 3 stars (not terrible but not that great either)Overall, this is a really good cd (if only Sony would remaster it but that's not likely considering the newer compilations) and is right up near the top of the list of the best Eddie Money compilations. As other reviewers have noted, none of these compliations have all the "essential" songs. I think I would have rather seen the 3 songs I rated as 1 or 2 stars replaced with other songs that were either bigger hits or just better songs like "Endless Nights", "Maybe I'm A Fool", and say "Gimmie Some Water"."
