"When Eddie Palmieri uses his imagination and musical creativity, what you get is a unique brand of Classic Jazzy Salsa with a level of quality that few can match. Only artists as Ray Barretto, Irakere, and a few others are capable of getting to that higher level of musicianship and great sound. The title track alone is enough reason to get this disc. With its free form Piano solo, "Solito" has been a personal favorite track of mine for some time now. This is one of Eddie's most impressive and challenging displays ever."
