Espectacular

"Ednita se supera nuevamente y como yo me lo imaginaba. Tuve la fortuna de estar envuelto en la produccion de Paul Simon en NY Broadway titulado "THE CAPEMAN" donde Ednita demostro que es toda una estrella espectacular y despues fui uno de los organizadores de un tributo dado a ella y otra mujer latina destacada Margarita Lopez Politica de NY y Edinita fue toda una dama de clase y afinida a los detalles espirituales y involvidables. Ednita es un gran ejemplo de lo que toda mujer latina o no debe anciar acercarse! Adoro a Ednita Nazario y su hija es tremenda bailarina ademas de inteligente y agraciada con el amor divino de Dios y de una madre suprema!"

"Since most of the reviews are in Spanish, I'll write this one in English for the non-Spanish speaking people. For those who don't know her, Ednita besides being a bona fide star in the realm of Pop Latino also is a icon in the style known as "corta-vena", literally "vein cutting", which is the mood one is in when they want to listen to that style(or the mood one gets into after hearing it). Most of the songs in this album are of this vein (pardon the pun).

That doesn't mean that you can only listen to it when you're blue, far from it. It's extremely romantic ( and it goes without saying that All the songs are lovely). It's just that in my particular case, some of the songs start making me reminisce about old loves,past break-ups,and long forgotten heartbreaks. But,that isn't necessarily a bad thing. To know happiness you have to know non happiness.

Don't let the fact that it's in Spanish stop you from listening to it. I believe she sings with such feeling that the emotion of the song comes through.

Hint : If you have someone Puertorrican or Latin that you like and don't know how to get things rolling, this album is a great way to say: "Hey, I just bought this album. It sounds great but I don't understand the lyrics. Wanna come over and listen to it, so you can tell me what she's singing about?""
