CD ReviewsOk J. Brady | PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC United States | 08/08/2004 (3 out of 5 stars) "Not essential. Not terrible. The opening track is a frankly embaressing attempt at "rocking out". The next few are pleasant enough - orchestral/industrial head-phone, head-music - Pink Floyd for the new millenium. The one attempt at anything groovy ( "NNNNNAAAAAMMMM" ) is tediously long, and the motor samples fall out of synch with the music at one point, and I'm wondering if they left it in like that because the mistake makes it sound "punk", like they just don't care, or if they simply didn't catch it until it went to press and it was too late to do aything about it. The remaining few songs are mid-period-sounding EN - a mix of various metallic clangs, plastic pops, and an almost garage band sound, with strings sometimes thrown in to make it sound a little more "arty" and mature."
