Album Details

Element 104 is a Side Project of D.c. Astro, a Member of the Industrial-goth Band Deep Red. He is Joined by Bassist Ernie C. And Chinese/Irish/American Vocalist Frangee Wong. Together, They Create Songs Inspired by their Many Musical Influences, Including 1980's Mega-bands Ultravox and Berlin as Well as the Italian Horror Movie Soundtracks of Darrio Argento. Astro's Keyboard Techniques and Musical Arrangements Compliment Ms. Wong's Astonishing Vocal Range. This EP was Recorded with 100% Analog Synthesizers and Rhythm Machines. The First Single "East Side of Heaven" Reached #1 on Soundclicks' Alternative and Alternative Pop Charts.

Totally awesome 80's alternative!

"Plenty of bands have the "new 80's sound" i.e. Kaiser Chiefs, Franz Ferdinand, Bravery...but none of these come close to the real sounds of an era filled with classic John Hughes flix! Listening to this CD reminds me of "Sixteen Candles", "Breakfast Club" etc. It is a total throwback! Very synth-pop/rock oriented with over-the-top vocals. This is bound to be a monster hit on the charts!"
