"Betrayals and ecstasies is a very divers album, with a broad span of musical styles and moods. The first track ,Litany Of Woes, begins in an fast almost rockish fashion, but changes in the end, and ends with an ambiental part with spoken lyrics. Portals Of Opium , is the fastest and hardest track on the cd. It is based on a hard electronic background with industrial drum beats, and accompanied by Mark Ellis clear almost operatic singing. Spleen, Far The Well, is a quiet almoust Classical track , with spoken lyrics only. The music flows between the different moods of the album in a wery gentle way, and the cd never loses it's feeling of unity and structure. The mature and professional jurney between diferent speeds and moods , create a interesting and enchanting masterpiece that never loses the listeners atention. The Lyrics are both sung and spoken, and based mainly on poetry by Charles Baudlair, Arthur Rimbaud, Paul Verlain and Ernest Dowson. The language used is English, except for a smal part in French on 'Portals of opium'. I higly recomend this cd !"
