Product DescriptionExtinction of Mankind is a U.K. Punk band that formed in 1992 and became known for its brand of thrash-fueled crust punk, after having completed tours in Europe and North America (and split releases) with legendary bands of the genre such as Doom, Misery, Wolfpack, Skitsystem and more.
The band is still very active with a large and enthusiastic fan base (many have sent in photos of their Extinction of Mankind tattoos to the band's website). More recently, Extinction of Mankind has shared the stage with bands such as The Exploited, Behind Enemy Lines and Kylesa. In December 2006, the band was featured in Metal Maniacs Magazine (and were also featured in Terrorizer Mag previously) and are currently planning a North American 2007 summer tour.
This is a CD reissue of the out-of-print vinyl EP "Ale To England" plus nine tracks recorded live in 2005 in Bradford, England at a celebration of the life of Wayne Southward, the late singer of Doom.
Recorded during the "Apocalyptic Crust" LP recording sessions "Ale To England" pays homage to early English Punk featuring covers of classics by Antisect, Discharge and Amebix.
CD Reissue (mastered by Bri Talbot of Doom) - 38 minutes 21 seconds
