"Not since my college days when Ella Fitzgerald was the rage have I so thoroughly enjoyed a female jazz vocalist and her accompaniment. Elli Fordyce's "Something Still Cool" CD, highlights old favorites and newer ones with interpretations (whether sung solo or in duet with Mr. Malloy) that just make you feel totally satisfied. Elli's voice is a tribute to her natural talent while her renditions reflect a genuine understanding of the composer's thoughts behind the words and music. I have had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Fordyce perform in person which adds to my enthusiastic recommendation of this album."
