"This is the first ever Elvis Presley Australian hits compilation. Together with the 50 hit songs, an 18 page booklet containing specially written liner notes and images of original RCA releases, and CD label art inspired by his first album release, the set provides a unique insight into Elvis Presley's popularity in Australia, a country where he managed an incredible twenty-year streak of placing hits on the singles charts. Expect not only the well known hit songs, but also many that are unique to Australia.
Following is an example of the text entry in the liner notes for one track ...
Tk30: Ain't That Lovin' You Baby (November 1964)
"Ain't That Lovin' You Baby" was released as a double A-side single with the ballad "Ask Me" and was Elvis' tenth No.1 hit in Australia, for three weeks from mid-November 1964. This song was originally recorded in June 1958, and while RCA pushed radio stations to play "Ask Me" most ignored this and played the up-tempo 1958 recording and it was the older song that fans purchased the single for.

"I have listened to this 2cd set now for over two weeks and I find myself still putting this in my cd player..I have many of Elvis hits cd's and this is one of the best..The songs are in order as they became hits in all the capital cities of Australia. The package is so fresh with a great photo of Elvis, the sound is excellent along with great liner notes...It appears a lot of time and effort has gone into the making of this 2cd and I'm sure no one will be disappointed...
Great Songs....Wonderful CD Package....10 out 10"
