"This was Elvis' first and best of his 5 volume Gold Record series of releases. Released in 1958, this album was a big hit in both the US and UK, peaking at number 3 on the album charts of both countries and eventually being certified MULTI-PLATINUM with sales in excess of 6 million copies in the US. The original album included his ealry, ground breaking hits for RCA such as: Heartbreak Hotel, Hound Dog, Love Me Tender, Jailhouse Rock, and Don't Be Cruel. This release is made even better with the inclusion of bonus tracks including several of his historic Sun recorings.

While the price of this import is high, and you can find a domestic release of this much cheaper, it does include enhanced sound."
