"A collection of songs on the topic of love that span Elvis' recording career from the 50s to the 70s including some live tracks. The audio enginerring is well done. My only quibble is the sequencing of tracks on this cd doesn't flow well. I reorganize the songs into four groups beginning with boy meets girl, boy falls in love, boy loses girl and lastly boy's quest for reconcilliation. The program begins with the medium shuffle beat of "Good Luck Charm" followed by the fast rocking number "Such A Night". Then comes the intense and operatic "Surrender". A capella harmonies segue nicely into "It's Now or Never", one of the top ten best selling singles of all time, followed by "Can't Help Falling In Love". "Spanish Eyes" provides a change of tempo then we slow things down with "Puppet On A String" and "Love Me Tender". "Are You Lonesome Tonight?" changes the mood beginning the boy loses girl group and the desperation of "Suspicious Minds" provides a change of tempo as we leave the joys of love for the pains of love with "I'm Leavin'", "You Gave Me A Mountain" and "Seperate Ways". "She's Not You" changes the theme again and starts the search for lost love in "Kentucky Rain" followed by "That's Someone You Never Forget". The emotionally powerful "Unchained Melody" brings the album to a climax. "The Wonder Of You" provides an uplifting denoument to this wonderful compilation of love songs sung by Elvis Presley."

"I purchased this tape for my 13yr. old who has loved Elvis since she was 18mos. old. She is thrilled and LOVES it and I may have to buy another one before she wears this one out. Great for Elvis fans of all ages."
