"De Nuevo is an awesome CD by Emilio Navaira; and I write this with all the prayers in my heart for his recovery. It would be a terrible tragedy to lose this very special entertainer; he deserves even more recognition that he gets for his fine music and ballads. The sound quality on this CD is excellent; and I like the artwork, too.
"Ella Se Fue" begins the sound track with a marvelous, beautiful ballad and Emilio sings this sweetly about a woman he wants to be his own--but will she come to him? Emilio sings this with all his heart and soul; he truly is a fine crooner! "Te Me Vas" continues the track set with another very pretty melody; Emilio sings this without a superfluous note and I really like "Te Me Vas." "De" also gets the royal treatment from Emilio; this love song really shines when Emilio sings it!
"Dejaré La Llave En Mi Puerta (I will leave my key in my door)" sounds fresh when Emilio performs this with a lot of energy and enthusiasm; this is easily a major highlight of this album. "Inventamos El Amor" shines equally; this ballad places Emilio squarely front and center; and I think that you'll enjoy this ballad even if you don't know a word of Spanish! "De Nuevo," the title track of this album, has great percussion and the guitar work makes it very pretty. Emilio sings this with panache and I am really impressed!
"El Beso" is a love song that has Emilio singing to a woman who has stirred romantic feelings in him. Listen also for "El Amor Acaba." "El Amor Acaba" has a great beat and Emilio never misses a beat!
The album ends very nicely with Emilio Navaira performing "Dejaré La Llave En Mi Puerta;" This is a slightly shortened, alternate version of this ballad. The melody is very pretty and I enjoy this number when Emilio delivers it so well.
Overall, fans of Emilio Navaira cannot afford to pass over this album; it features Emilio's talents and artistry very well. People who like Spanish and Mexican music will also appreciate this CD.
