Here is a young man with a reputation as a hell raiser but this song, as crude, rude and outrageous as it is tells a real life story of neglect and cruelty by a mother to her young son. Eminem is a man haunted by ghosts and his songs, reflect this, more so in this one, "Cleaning Out My Closet". Eminem's pain and anger are so evident in this song and the video brings it to life in a way that both shocking and heartrending. Add to this the catchy tune, the soulful beat, the great rapping and you have one heck of a single that you won't forget in a hurry.This CD is great and you get the added bonus of an instrumental version, the album version of the song AND the video which by the way is as good as the song itself.I did not want to be a fan of Eminem when he first came on the scene but his songs are addictive and no matter how hard I try I find myself drawn to his lyrics and rapping style.
