"I have been playing this CD to the point of wearing it out. Every once in a while a unique sound comes along that grabs your attention and won't let go. From the moment you put on this CD it takes you on a journey through the elemental styles of jazz both old a new.There are some bluesy numbers and a nod to Frank Zappa fans. The muti talented Jimmy Layton,has put together a knockout project. The musicianship of the band,especially vocalist Lili Layton and trumpeter Harvey Wainapel are a gift.I highly recommend this CD to anyone who is a fan of the "Smooth Jazz" sound."
