Equations is mainly instrumental with some very jazzy moments, and lots of fast sequenced beats to keep the pace moving. The occasional vocal tracks are well balanced with the main emphasis on instruments and rythm. Although I wouldn't classify this as a jazz album, I would especially recommend it to jazz fans and anyone who likes bands such as Portishead but also enjoys something a bit more high energy."
