Great recording of Enescu octet

"Ok, so it's not like there is necessarily a long list of competitors, but this has to be the best recording of the Enescu Octet out there. By no means is the octet's obscurity a measure of its quality. Comprised of four movements played without break, themes are recycled throughout the entire piece. The Academy of St. Martin's in the Field provides a wonderful account of this immensely difficult and complex work. Not perfect, but impressive nonetheless. Not the easiest piece to pull off, in more ways than one - I can say this from experience :) Oh, what an experience that was haha."
