CD Reviews
I want more

"I had low expectations for this single, but I was very surprised. Having a very complete collection of Enigma's singles, I'd put this near the top. Although simple in it's
architecture, it leaves you breathlessly awaiting the full album
promised by year's end. Those that disapprove of this new material are probably only familiar with Cretu's work as Enigma, but he's been around many years before that entity and he has always had a unique sound. His releases starting with
Voyageur (IMO) are returning to his earlier sound; frankly I love the path he's taking."
ENIGMAS are never easy to understand

"Gotta say i was more than a little disheartened by all the harsh reviews surrounding this single. However, it is hard for fake ENIGMA fans to understand just how unique and original every CD is, in it's own right.
To listen to one track and say it sucks is like buying a 2000 piece jigsaw puzzle, then look at one piece and say this puzzle is a waste. You must put all the pieces together to see what the picture is meant to be. Any true fan knows that ENIGMA is an experience in which all the music must be listened to together to get the true affect.
I must admit that every CD has taken me a little time to get used to, and to understand where it is trying to go. This CD is no different. Its got an interesting organ beginning from something you might envision while walking into a haunted house, and then leads into a funky unexpected beat that takes you in a direction you couldn't possibly see coming (in other words an enigma).
The only flaw is that its kinda short leaving you wanting more. Don't be surprised to hear this track played soon at clubs and raves (possibly with master mixes added, to help improve the brief nature of the track). So in all, id say if you are a true fan, check it out (its clearly a new direction, and if you know ENIGMA you'd expect nothing less).
If you are looking for the old traditional patterns of Gregorian Chants (you probably wont care for it), and I'm sorry to say its time to stop living in the past and open your mind to new experiences, and music. And maybe only then will you be able to unlock the ENIGMA."
Too much noise
Digital Gadget | Seattle, Washington, USA | 04/05/2006

"It's Enigma... but different. This is more like a pop/techno set than his other stuff. There's a lot of tinny, flaky background noise. There are some places where the noise is used as an instrument to play bars of the song or a pattern, but otherwise it just makes me wonder if I've blown a speaker. 3 stars because Enigma totally rules and there are some good sections of music amongst the noise."
Hello & Welcome: A decent single release
Petar Vodogaz | Sydney, NSW Australia | 11/29/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)
"This single release was pre 'A Posteriori'. This was supposed to be a teaser trailer to the album released at the end of 2005. There are 3 tracks, 1. Radio Edit of 'Hello & Welcome' which was not used on the actual album. The radio edit was in my opinion the better version of the song as it opens with the old Enigma church organs we all know and love. The 2 remixes of the song 'Thunderstorm Mix' which was the strongest and potent remix and then the 'After the Storm' mix.
This enhanced release comes with a bonus video clip that can be run by any CD-ROM, DVD Plyer. It is a video that could have had more in it. Hence only 4 stars. This single release is only for Enigma or Cretu music collectors or die hard Enigma fans who love the new feel that Enigma is undergoing."
JUST BEAUTIFUL!

"This single took by surprise. It starts off unusually scary but then turns to one of the funkiest and well truly enigmatic single I've ever heard. It's just brilliant how everything fits together and makes you just want to play it over and over again.
I really can't wait for the full album to come out. Voyagor was such a wonderful one and I have high expectations for this new one, especially now that I've heard this single.
