"Entwined are undeniably talented at what they do and obviously shape their style off the ways of doomy Paradise Lost/recent Amorphis. I like the riffs and the overall sound of the album very much, but the problem lies in the vocals. The singer tries hard but rarely gets more than a flick of emotion conveyed through how he sings. He tries too hard to be Nick Holmes and it just doesn't work. Perhaps he should try a voice more fitting to the music, a la Anders Frieden of In Flames - a more harsh style would've made this album excellent, but sadly, that's not the case."
