Howie W. (Otheriver) Reviewed on 3/7/2015... I'm not sure the Amazon reviewer is reviewing the same CD.
These are all the original versions that you know and love by Clapton. A short and tight collection of Eric's best solo tunes. If you are new to his 1970's and early 80's songs, this is a good place to start. If you want something for the commute, this will get you there. The "ground-breaking, environmentally-friendly packaging format" does not have notes, but does tip you off as to where you can find them on-line. There are a few pictures and the track list on the package however. It's the digital age I guess. Pauline F. (musicaddict) from LIBERTY, IL Reviewed on 9/14/2006... CD Reviews
Very Disappointing F. Moore | Land of Enchantment, USA | 02/28/2007 (1 out of 5 stars) "Even for $6.88 at Sam's Club, this Millennium Collection CD was no bargain. It's so bad I couldn't even finish listening to it! Where did they get these cuts? They sound so muddy and poorly mixed that they must have been practice session tapes retrieved from the dumpster. The various instruments and voices keep fading in & out so you can't follow the music. Plus, the tempos and overall sounds are very different from the "definitive" versions most of us think of. I never thought it was possible to mess up a Clapton song, but UMI proved me wrong. And the liner notes? --None in this cardboard packaged "green" version."
