The sopohmore release from Woodstock's EXTRA-Sensitive Singer/Songwriter, Eric Erickson, finds Eric in fine command of his craft. In addition to his own perceptive, moving and clever songs, he presents his take on James Taylor's Slow and Steady and the old Bing Crosby standard Moonlight Becomes You. The CD is anchored by a band consisting of Sam Zuchini on drums, Scott Petito on bass and Vinnie Martucci on keyboards. Adding touching accents are some of Woodstock's finest musicians, including: acoustic guitarist, the late Artie Traum; fiddler Jay Ungar; mandolinist Molly Mason; saxophonist Gus Mancini; cellist Abby Newton and violinist Betty MacDonald. The album opens with the stirring a capella title track, a duet Eric sings with his wife, Ellen Reitemeyer.
