Quite a comeback

"Having been a lifelong fan of Eric Stewart and 10cc I wasted no time at all in buying Eric's previous album "Do not bend". To be honest, the album was quite nice, but he'd obviously been working on it far too long. It was overproduced to the hilt. It was with some considerable hesitation therefor that I pushed the "buy" button to obtain this new Eric Stewart cd. But make no mistake: this album is great. No flaws, no filler, no overproduction or wall of sound whatsoever. Just eleven great tracks with a bluesy feel, great guitar hooks and Eric's voice (hey the guy is over sixty, remember) in very good form indeed. A great revival."
