"Adam Kent is my piano teacher, but that's not why I'm reviewing this CD. I bought this CD just because my teacher was the soloist. But now that I listened to it many times, I have fallen in love with the CD and Adam Kent's warm and sensitive tone. Spanish composer Ernesto Halffter is not very known, although after listening to this CD I can't understand why he isn't. The opening piece is a Sonatina which Kent plays in a joyful and uplifting mannor. I'm not going to get into great details but this CD is truly extraordinary! I can't stop listening to it. I love it and it's at a bargain price! Don't miss this SUPERB Spanish Collection! Go get it.Sound is Perfect!"

"Adam Kent has captured the beautiful piano music of the Twentieth Century Spanish composer, Ernesto Haffler. Kent plays with a warm, smart and delicate tone that makes one think why he is not more known. His style of playing is emotional without being over-so and one is reminded of Horowitz in some of the difficult passages. I highly recommend this album to anyone who appreciates modern and romantic Spanish music."
