"This album has nothing but virtuosity and pure joy. Not the typical duo album of contests, but a complementary work of art under the direction of Lewis. One can hear the difficulties of Jones following the guidelines of Lewis and getting out of the way in a different way he's accostumed, but the final result is pure brilliance by 2 of the greatest pianists and accompanists of piano history. This and Jones'and Tommy Flanagans'one are the best piano duo records you can ever put your hands on."
