"It is a great song, that makes people realize that maybe their life isn't as bad as they think. Other people have been through worse stuff. You really think about how everyones lives are so different. And, yet, important. This is the best song!!!!"
A great new song with some meaning to it

"Everlast sure did the right thing by recording such a song, I was in D.C. and then the radio station put it on, oh man! I was delighted to hear reality being sing. I recommend this CD, IT IS A MUST BUY!"
Pure, earth-shaking lyrics and chilling music.

"What can I say? This is about the only group of the 90's that I actually purchased music from. Not since the 70's has a band addressed the issues of reality with lyrics that literally wrap around your heart and dig to the deepest limits of the soul. Listening to "What it's like" puts things in perspective and awakens the mind to the realization that the problems faced by the individual are not just isolated events, but rather, world wide tragedies. Everlast's unique mix of jazz, blues, rock, and pop will leave a long lasting impression and this is one of the few groups that can be listened to over and over again without getting tired. I highly recommend this CD and any other music produced by Everlast. I think you will either like it, or hate it. If you like it, then you'll probably enjoy the lyrics of a recently released song by Baz Luhrman called "Everyone's free (to wear sunscreen)"."
"the music's great. And it also makes you think twice before you critize a person. "if you've ever walked a mile in her shoes, then you really might know what it's like to have to choose." (Everlast)"
