CCM's Newest Sensation!!!
Louie Bourland | Garden Grove CA | 09/04/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Everlife is a group of three sisters, Julia, Amber and Sarah Ross, who are bound to take the CCM world by storm with their self-titled debut CD. While comparisons to Zoegirl and Barlowgirl are readily apparent, Everlife has a sound all their own that combines hook-driven hard-rock with more gentle pop moments. The girls' voices as well as their songwriting are top notch throughout the album leaving one asking for more. Their lyrics are definitely uplifting and evangelically focused as well.

Standout tracks include "I'm Over It", "Take A Ride" (which features guest vocals from Petra's John Schlitt), "Set Me Free" and the album's first single "Evidence" which is already getting a ton of airplay throughout the nation.

Everlife definitely has released a stunning debut disc. After listening to it, there is ample proof that these three siblings are onto something spectacular.

An extremely powerful debut!!

"Take a ride" with Everlife!
M. Carter | Rock Hill, SC United States | 04/14/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Since Zoegirl has returned to its more poppy roots, Christian rock fans have found themselves hungering for pop/rock music with a harder edge. The emergence of Everlife, a surprisingly talented trio of sisters, is the answer to such prayers.

Where Zoegirl pops, Everlife rocks--hard. Things get off to a rollicking start with "Heaven Open Your Eyes," a Radio Disney smash hit that praises God alongside swaggering blues guitar and crashing bass line. "Take a Ride" continues the fun, urging listeners to ignore naysayers and "run with the Holy Ghost." In "I'm Over It," catchy pop melodies mix with sunny lyrics to create a fun song about forgiveness. "Set Me Free" bounces through a rocking chorus that celebrates being born again.

The soaring "Evidence," perhaps the album's strongest song, asks listeners to "trust what they can't see." The tune also reveals Everlife's ability to perform slower-paced ballads with equal ease. "Save Me" is a plea for daily redemption; "Lead the Way" implores God to lead His believers down the right path. "Angels Cry," the album's closing track, is a surprisingly gentle song about the desire to see humanity even in God's winged creations.

The answer is clear: Turn to Zoegirl for meaningful pop tunes. For a harder edge, Everlife is the answer."
Better than ZoeGirl by FAR!

"I was a ZoeGirl fan for a loooong time till I heard Everlife. These sisters rock! I admire them for being a christian band on Disney Channel! Thier best song by far was 'I'm over it'. Hope you decide to try Everlife."
