"This is laughable....
it is bad enough when these attached DVDs don't feature interviews or performances of the "featured" artists....but this raises the bar...30 minutes of talking heads....who are NOBODIES! people identified as "music enthusiasts"....oh my horrible.....this company is criminal...."
Big Rip-Off!!!!!

"What a big rip-off! I'm surprised that Amazon even has this! For one thing, the cover "suggests" that this is a CD of the younger Everly Brothers in concert! It is clearly made after the Reunion concert or maybe excerpts from it. And the DVD that comes with it, is laughable!!! All it is, is some unknown actors (I suspect) telling the Everly story! Most all of it straight from their biography. Although there was one curious statement in it. That Chet Atkins "made" them sound even younger to attract a younger audience! LMAO For one thing Chet was not their manager! And they sounded "YOUNG" because they were YOUNG!! A very SILLY statement! While I love EB in any form and I only paid $10.96 including shipping, I still feel this was false advertising! Amazon should be ashamed for even offering it for sale."
Great CD

"I only listened to the CD on a music service.... it is GREAT.... good musicians, tight band, fair recording poor production... and the Brothers were singing great... If you like live music this is a great update to great songs sung by some of THE world's greatest singers..... sorry I couldn't have been there!
The engineers overdid a production technique called "Automatic Gain Control" (I analyzed the wave forms). This brightens parts of the mix [some parts tinny]... adds boominess to other parts [bass booms indistinctly] and makes some parts more audible [voices and other parts buried in the mix] and should only be used to save an otherwise bad recording.... they should have used less intrusive enhancement [like a dynamic range compressor set threshold -6db, limit 3db with a 2:1 ratio]..... they used the automatic gain control because they wanted quick and dirty better sound....
GUITAR PLAYERS [I am one]
The player on this record is great... can't wait to find out who he is... great feel and a lot of improv on the fly.... great feel.... he has got to be a studio cat....
