"There is no perfect word to perfectly describe this album by the Everly Brothers. 'Great' would fall short of it.Like their other album, Songs My Daddy Taught Me, this compilation contains some of the duo's lesser known numbers which can't be found in their other releases. Lesser known these songs may be but they sound just as great. Here the brothers go pure country. Songs by great country stalwarts like Hank Williams (I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry), Don Gibson (Just One Time, Oh Lonesome Me, Legend In My Time) and Johnny Cash (I Walk The Line) are here, performed and given justice by the incomparable duo. A couple of Don and Phil's work (It's All Over, which was a hit for Cliff Richard, and I Wonder If I Care As Much) are also here, able to stand up alongside the other aforementioned country classics. Don and Phil Everly define what good harmony means and they prove it once again in this album. But damn it, I'm sick and tired telling you what this album is all about. Just buy it!"
