"Richard[Humpty]Vission feat.Rozalla- Everybody's FreeI wish i knew. That is all that i thought after I was told who sang this fantastic song. I wish i knew who sang it so I could have purchased it years ago. I was familiar with the original early 90's recording by Rozalla. And as you can imagine, I was estatic to find out there was a remake/remix being done for this song. When I looked for the CD on (...), there was no track listing. I imediatly assumed there was just a number of remixes done by Richard Vission. Being that he isn't my favorite remixer (don't get me wrong, he's great. Just not my style.) I wasn't exactly thrilled. But boy was I wrong. This CD featured remixes by some of the hottest upcomming and established remixers of modern day house. Here is a review of the CD.1) Vission's Original Radio Edit 3:29 (See Track 5)2) Mijango's Remix Radio Edit 3:50 (See Track 6)3) Mind Trap Radio Edit 3:50 (See track 7)4) Plasma Trance Mix 7:02- I expected alot more from Plasma this time around. Even though I have only heard one of their previous remixes, It was of Ambers- Sexual (Featured on her "The Hits Remixed" album), which was one of the best crossover remixes I have ever heard. It builds up making you think that there is going to be a dramatic trance breakdown, but goes nowhere. Sorry Plasma, but a dissapointment.5) Vission's Cyberfest Mis 6:04- I was suprised with this mix. It's excellent. Vission tried something new and suceeded with a wonderful mix of a classic dance song.6) Mijango's Tribal Mix 7:37- Pure delight. I was familiar with Mijango's remixes of the songs of Enrique Iglesias album "Enrique." I was quite satisfied with this mix. Very tribal. It features a dramatic build up and a dramatic breakdown. Look out for Mijango, he's yet to dissapoint me.7) Mind Trap Anthem Vocal 8:14- Another acheivment for Mind Trap. I was familiar with there remix of Kim English's "Mising You. Modomo 315 and Jason Ojeda (Mind Trap), realy know how to handle a track. This mix is pure progressive house. Theres no wonder why they call this mix an anthem. It's exactly that. Another fantastic mix from Mind Trap.8) Mind Trap Deep Dub 7:34- This is one of the best Dubs that I have ever heard. Unlike most Dubs, it's no extremely repetitive. Excellent.This CD is amazing. You can never get tired of it. Theres a wide selection of amazing mixes. And unlike some remixes, they dont take away anything from the song. They only make it better. Richard, your something to watch out for. If you like this mix, check out his mix of Madonna's "Don't Tell Me." And as for Rozalla? Girl, it's time to record another album. Give us some more anthems!"
