"I liked "Evita" and was a little disappointed by this rendition. I would have preferred less piano riffs, which is mainly what the album has, and more jazz and blues influence. If you happen to like piano it is good background music."

"I looked at the CD cover and almost threw this "gift" in the trash. As an avid jazz fan and part time musician, I could not understand why any credible jazz musicians would want to make a jazz verion of Webber's EVITA! But, I got hooked from the opening track. The only songs I ever heard from the show were "Don't Cry For Me Agentina" and that new one Madonna did. This CD is a gorgeous blend of subtle jazz along with the original melodies. So much feeling and delicacy. This is real music, whatever you call it. A genuine treasure. I hear something new every time. Highly recommended!!"

"Haven't been this excited about a recording for a long time. Firstly I love the Bill Evans-George Shearing school of jazz, and secondly I do like the story of the show Evita. Secondly, this CD is very emotional. Finally, Kramer is an outstanding pianist - technically, and a great improviser. The arrangements are awesome and the trio is very cohesive. I love listening to this and highly recommend it. Enjoy!"
