Breathtaking performer, What's not to like?

"Ewa Sonnet, whose wondrous female form is a work of art, proves to be an artful vocalist. Don't let a little language barrier stand between you and the most beautiful singer in the world. Although Ewa Sonnet is still a work in progress, this diamond only needs a little more buffing to be a true shinning star. Her videos for "... i RNB" & "Nie zatrzymasz mnie" are well known on the internet.



Produced by Robert Janson of the group Varius Manx Emu, Nielegalna, (translation "Illegal") was this remarkable lady's first album. If you can get past her model looks you'll find there's a vocalist in there too.

The Euro-House-club style is a surprising pleasure, from the joyous "C'est La Vie" to "Daj Mi Wiebo"(Give me the sky) her delectable tones are happily stimulating. The ballad "Wszystko Mija"(Everything Passes) is alive with sensual emotion.



Why she hasn't already become a mainstream worldwide hit is a mystery to me! What's not to like? I'm sure vocal purists will disagree with me loudly. "Nie zatrzymasz mnie" (eng. You won't stop me) has be come an anthem forecasting Ewa's struggle to be accepted as talented performer. I disregard the negatives I've heard about Miss Sonnet. I'm to busy being delightfully entertained!



If you get an internet translation of the lyrics you can appreciate this work even more.

This sexy lady might make you want to learn Polish. I find Nielegalna intoxicating, so Illegal is an appropriate title. Be warned you may lose your heart!"

"Ewa Sonnet's CD Nielegalna "Illegal" is an enchanting mix of euro-pop/club/techno and lush ballads. It doesn't hurt that she is uniquely gorgeous.

This 1st album from Eastern Europe's most fascinating phenomenon holds me over while awaiting the upcoming HypontiQ CD. The production is well matched to Ewa's infectious vocals. The 1st 3 tracks were originally released as a maxi single in 2005 & the other tracks added for release in 2006. The track: "Choæbyae zamkn wszystkie drzwi " (Even if you closed all the doors) was remixed & renamed "Nie zatrzymasz mnie" (Do not stop me) becoming her most popular.

I heard this album on MP3 but since I'm "Old School" I prefer holding a CD in my hands. There's great 12 page picture insert included. What a bonus!
