We bought this album just because she was on the cast. Mind you, her voice is unparalleled... but the album doesn't show it off, and the musical recording on the whole was a disappointment..at least in comparison to what we have listened from her other albums, Try Caldara - Maddalena ai piedi di Cristo, which is an absolute wonder, totally out of this world... also, Monteverdi: Scherzi Musicali Lamentazioni per la Settimana Santa Per il Santissimo Natale the price of the album was not proportional to the quality of the work. that is why I am really disappointed.
