"Song #7 "Deanash" is particularly gorgeous. This is an album for people who delight in exquisite music with a light, soprano touch. In this case the magic is spun by the lovely Stephannie. She is a new age/celtic style vocalist whose renditions are sweet, flowing and open without ever descending into the nasal, cloying or simpering style of some that are better known in this particular music genre. The following songs are especially outstanding with blends of voice, piano, and the gorgeous accents of a wonderfully skilled celtic harpist Lisa Lynne. Songs such as "Mystery"; "Heartmagic"; and especially "Sa'Brooke" lovingly sung by Stephannie in the celtic tongue. "DonaCreiTun" is magical, "Ehsellyei"is rich with longing, and finally 'Veil of Elphame" weaves a tantalizing elfin quality into this fresh and delightful album guaranteed to delight those of us who adore the notion of faerie folk whether real or imagined. An exquisite, enchanting, sonic fantasy."
Excellent, beautiful, enchanting, mesmerizing....

"When Gary Stadler collaborated with the late Singh Kaur (Lorellei), I thought that he had found a perfect female vocal partner. He had, but on this CD he has been graced with another vocalist of wonder, Stephanie. The music on this CD brings you directly into the enchanted night, and you can feel the presence of of faeries and elves as evoked by the music. OK. OK. If that is not your thing, do not rush to click off to another page. The music is incredible. Stephanie sings lyrics in a language other than English (a Celtic-sounding faerie tongue). The music makes you feel as if there is magic everywhere, from the opening song to the last. The CD opens with music to draw you into the night, with lyrics in English, then follows with enchanted renderings of Heart Magic using keyboards, some synthesizers and Stephanie's vocalese. There is also solo piano work by Gary Stadler, and he has never sounded better. Through the middle of the music, you feel as if you are dancing late at night around a small campfire with mysterious lights in the trees. By the end song, you come back to English lyrics and a poignant call to find a home again...in other words to go back. I generally don't like "Faerie" music because it feels way to cutsie and consciously adorable. This is not the case here. I truly felt as if the Night has been changed. Wonderful music."

"I stumble onto Fairy Heart Magic & I'm glad that I do.This CD is Mr. Stadler's strongest effort because he takes his extraordinary keyboard and electronic skills and combines them with other instruments and the eartheral voice of Stephanie. And the lyrics are as important as the music.Although one can indeed find a "fairy" theme of whimsy and mystery, I believe that the music reaches far beyond pixies and imaginary forest nymphs. For me it is an album of self discovery. One can descend into whimsy or alternatively into deep thought and sentimental reflection. My wife and I have the good fortune of discovering this CD prior to taking a trip to Ireland. We bring it along with us and to this day we carry warm memories of driving the beautiful Irish mountains and countryside while Stadler's songs echo in our ears. It could not have been a more perfect combination for making our journey even more meaningful. But this CD has also been an emotional salve as I watch my mother grow old and mentally feable. I listen to its soft and powerful melodies and think of times past and watch the present slowly pass her by. It contains hope and assurance as life goes on around us.Real music is art which becomes many things to different people. Fairy of the Woods is art, thought, and whimsy all rolled into one.I highly reccomend it for anyone who wants to take their own journey into their imagination."

"This third album by Gary Stadler, enriched with the sweet voice of Stephannie is really wonderful! They have portrayed such a magical and delightful balance of otherworld lyrics with modern sentiment that it is always soothing to my heart and spirit. I have been a fan of Gary's music for several years and I always find his music so emotionally expressive and suitable for so many settings. Lisa Lynn's Celtic harp playing lends a perfect touch. This album is a special gift for anyone who enjoys beautiful piano, Celtic music in general and anyone into fairy lore. A great choice for all year long! -LL Chappell"

"This third release from the magically musical mind of tunesmith Gary Stadler on Sequoia Records opens the heart and sets the soul soaring. Building upon the success of his critically acclaimed first release, Fairy of the Woods, and then delving deeper into the Fairy realms with his seductively alluring second venture, Fairy Night songs, with the sumptuously lush vocals of the late Sigh Kaur; on this new release Stadler teams up with dynamic new Celtic singing sensation Stephannie combined with the vibrant harp work of Lisa Lynne to take his blend of deeply moving and magical Celtic stylings to entirely new levels within the Fairy realm. Stephannie's vocals on tracks such as the Gaelic "Dona Crei Tun" are entrancingly beautiful. Imagine Loreena McKennett with a set of fairy wings and a mischeiveous twinkle in her eye. Lisa Lynne's exceptionally crafted and executed harp work is extraordinary and Stadler once again proves himself a true wizard of the genre. He truly knows and lives within the realms of the Fae, and opens up our hearts to experience their world through his gifted music. An inspiringly masterful work !"
