"Overall, the album is one of my favorites, old stuff is always the best, but if you're in doubt, buy it. I personally favor the orginal pressing of EOWYG to the new one. First of all, Uprising (record label) is collecting all of the benefits from this Re-Release, Not FALL OUT BOY, Fall Out Boy does not own the rights to these songs and they are not making ANY money from the Re-Release. Second, the volume levels of the vocals have been upped, to decrease the 'Echoing' effect, but it seems a little too much. Pete's bass, the drums, Joe's Guitar, and Patrick's Guitar are all upped when they are the main instrument being used. its like there is a solo every 10 seconds. the album art is all re-vamped, but there is NO, i repeat NO bonus tracks or any supplementary material. if you are a fan of fall out boy, first buy the original EOWYG if you can find it, (i found mine at an FYE for $17), and if you cant, go for this, it's the next best thing."

"Fall Out Boy's first album, Evening Out With Your Girlfriend is really amazing. If you listen to it you can almost tell that they're developing their signiture emo/punk sound that they produce through their music today. I also enjoy how they have the first "Calm Before The Storm" and how they also have it redone on Take This To Your Grave. The songs that stand out for me on this CD are:
-Calm Before The Storm
-Pretty in Punk
-The World's Not Worth Waiting (For Five Tired Boys In A Broken Down Van)
-Parker Lewis Can't Lose (But I'm Gunna Give It My Best Shot)
All in all, this CD is a MUST for any Fall Out Boy fan. Add this CD to your collection today, you won't be sorry you did."

"I'm about to but this CD. I've been looking for it in stores all over the place and can't find it. I have downloaded most of these songs already, and they are all amazing. I'm a huge FOB fan, and these songs are great. However, if you want thier best, I suggest From Under The Cork Tree or Take This To Your Grave.

"Not too keen on the whole 'emo' sound but have to say Fall Out Boy stand out, mostly because of their great music and exellent lyrics to match. While I do like Fall Out Boy have to say their sound is a little generic and their is little difference between albums. This however, is where this one stands out.
Yeh I know, there is plenty of controversy over this album because the lable are just cashing in on FOB but for me this album has quickly become one of my favorites.
This one has a great 'raw' sound about it and the tracks a little faster than their later albums giving it a much more 'punkier' feel than their other albums. While the sound has been remastered it is still as raw as ever and I think that realy captures the early FOB.
Ignore all the controversy around this one and just buy it for the music."
