"The long defunct English band is,to my mind,the finest one of the 90s,which is the period of their greatest activity.
Never hitting the heights like their contemporaries Jesus Jones or other Happy Valley bands,they left the business frustrated by a lack of success.
They had a highly individual sound,always with the same voice,and a great sense of melodic invention.
The name came from a Strawberry Alarm Clock lyric,information divulged by them to a French interviewer. Its been kept alive by me as my User Name and I have a huge Fan Site on EGroups
