His best collection so far, but only 3 stars

"I love Fancy, and this is probably the first decent collection he released. The problem is that he has recorded so many beautiful songs over 10 or so years since 1985 that it's hard to put the best ones on one CD. I would do a double at least. I do not particularly agree with the choice of songs on this one, as well as with the versions of some songs. "Flames of love '98" is rather disappointing and only updates the electronics but does not add much to that wonderful song. Fancy followed steps of Modern Talking, Bad Boys Blue, C.C.Catch, Silent Circle, and other Euro-disco legends trying to cash in on remixing old material. It might sound fresh if he was the only one doing it, but they're all into it now. This collection is a good blend of 80s and 90s dance- pop and is good for those who are not very familiar with Fancy and would not know what they are missing from his old recordings. I stick with his original albums, of which Flames of Love (1988) is the best."
Great for Italo or Euro disco fans

"When I popped in this CD, the 80's came back to me.
Slice Me Nice and Lady of Ice were favorites of
mine back then, but there are other nice songs
here as well. However, if you are an Italo fan,
you might be more interested in one of the
Italo collection CD's that're out there, and get
Fancy that way (along with Patty Ryan, Gazebo,
Modern Talking, Bad Boys Blue and other cool 80's
artists!)"
