"The Fania All-Stars were essentially Fania Records' premier group. Most if not all of them were the top artists for the label and of the New York Salsa scene of the 1970s and prior. The artists of this group consisted of Johnny Pacheco(who was one of the co-founders of the label), Willie Colon, Ray Baretto, Ruben Blades, Hector Lavoe and Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri & Tito Puente as special guests.
This album was the second of two volumes recorded at Yankee Stadium recorded in 1973. These 5 tracks are hot and these cats have chops to spare. Whether you download it,buy it new or used this will be among the most important albums in your record collection for years to come.
I highly recommend 'Bemba Colora'. The horns playing and percussions is just beautifully insane. But it all fits and sounds excellent."
