"I am from the States, but my exchange student from Germany brought this cd and I was blown away, because it was so damn good. We Americans miss out quite a bit, even if you don't understand, it still rocks, but you should look the lyrics up anyway, because they are hysterical"
Good, but not great.

"I first heard "Die Fantastichen Vier" on their "Vier Gewinnt" album (because of their "Die Da" hit). "4:99" is much more ambitious, and incorporates a lot of other elements, such as the gospel choir in "Le Smou", but I much prefer their "Vier Gewinnt" album. "4:99" is nice background music, but is generally slower than "Vier Gewinnt". Obviously there's quite a lapse in years between "Vier Gewinnt" and "4:99", so I haven't kept up with their musical changes over the years. So maybe "4:99" wouldn't've been so disappointing if I had kept up. :) I'm on my way to CDNow and order their "Vier Gewinnt"."
Es ist wirklich geil!

"I was an exchange student last year in Dresden,Germany and that is where I found out about this group. 4:99 is not their best cd, but it is still hella good. If you are not sure about buying it you should even if you do not speak German!"
