Pura Rumba!

"I am working as a salsa DJ, and I can say that RUMBAGITATION is one of the best Latin music albums ever produced. Not only for listening but especially for dancing, which is the essence of Afro-Cuban music... I played several songs at a recent dance event, and people just got crazy! Fatal Mambo perfectly dominates the crossover of an indefinite number of styles, their cumbia-reggae-salsa blends being outstanding. And the French... Well, English Salsa always sounds a bit strange to me, but French seems almost as perfect as Spanish in this case. Try also the 1997 release FATAL MAMBO, its different, more experimental, more jazzy, but great as well! Hope there will be more in the future..."

"First half is Latin/timbale/salsa music sung in French. Very good. I love the piece that mixes Latin timbale with Flamenco guitar. Some good hip-hop too. Mi Hombre is beautiful, sung in Spanish. Final song is kooky but inventive."
