CD ReviewsRain Mordikai Crump | Olympia, WA | 01/15/2009 (5 out of 5 stars) "The first five minutes of this over hour long track are sounds of rain (I am unsure if they are recorded rain sounds or are fabricated rain sounds). One must turn the volume knob up quite a bit to hear it. Then, the black metal doomfest enters slowly, but progressively getting louder and faster. It is awesome. These guys are purists and they come from Oly, so I can't wait to see them in my town (hopefully somewhere in the woods where it is raining and dark!!!)! The vocals oscillate between melodic and sheer expression of pain. The lyrics are quite interesting too, somewhat reminiscent of good period Neurosis. This record is insane!"
