"Loved it. I especially enjoyed how Alison's voice goes from soft in The Poet to rockin' on Strange, while always retaining its light ethereal quality. Crazy Girl and Water & Dreams are great 'hummable' tunes that stay with me. The mix of Alison & Erin's leads with the guys singing background on Crazy Girl makes for a smoothe transition"
Feathermerchants breathe new life into music world

"Too many bands sound similar in today's music world. You turn on the radio only to hear the same bubblegum pop or yet another "alternative" song. But thanks to the Feathermerchants' unique sound, such will not be the case for long. What makes them so amazing is their use of a Greek bazouki, coupled with Erin O'Hara's angelic voice. The notes simply float. "Best Regards" is my favorite track; once you play it, you cannot get the tune out of your system. A must have CD for your collection, and if you have the privledge, see them live!"

"Great sounds! Diverse and exotic. The guitars and drums make you want to close your eyes and feel the music. The two women, Alison and Erin really put an wonderful edge on the sounds. Picks: Crazy Girl. Runaway. Strange. Ludlow Street."
An encouraging debut.

"Melodies are on haunting Syracuse, reminiscent on Jazz America, angry on Best Regards, and sweet on Water & Dreams. I enjoyed this CD a lot. An encouraging debut."
