"If your musical taste includes Dave Matthews, this band is for you. Although they've played together, Fighting Gravity's ska-based tunes, laced with amazing horns, are quite different than Dave's - though equally as good. Fighting Gravity's longevity has translated into musical maturity: Dave P.'s bass is excellent, and Mike's percussion is superb. Lead singer Schiovannie is a blast to watch on stage, and just as wonderful to listen to on the CDs. If you're a first time buyer, Forever-1 Day (epecially songs #2 and #4) is a great starting point, and try to catch them as they tour up and down the eastern seaboard from VT, to MA, NY, and of course their home state of VA. You'll have a great time."
