"To all who read this. If you ever see a copy of either "Hexbreaker!" or "Roman Gods", buy them! Fleshtones at their best. I kick myself... for never getting "Hexbreaker!", but at least I do have a vinyl copy of "Roman Gods". These were released on the IRS label."

"For those of you wondering "Who are these guys" or "What, they're still around," the 'Tones remain Peter Zaremba (Lead Vocals, Keys and Harp), Keith Streng (Guitar & Vocals), Bill Milhizer (Drums & Vocals) and Ken Fox (Bass & Vocals). Formed in Queens during the mid seventies to play crude and exciting rock'n'roll, the 'Tones manifesto, if that's the correct word, still remains in tact - compact three minute songs delivered with a smile and a big heart. This isn't to say that the band don't have a more thoughtful side, it's there to be investigated without obligation for the 'Tones never force their problems, collective or otherwise, down your throat.Sometimes labelled as good time sixties garage-rockers, the 'Tones owe just as much to KC & The Sunshine Band as say the Rivieras. For many this lack of a convenient pigeon hole has proved problematic. Like all true artists they plunder from whatever source fits the moment and their brand of American Beat is truly original and uplifting. But enough pretentious waffle 'cause now the site is rolling we have some far more literate accounts of the phenomenon known to the world as Super-Rock."
