"When this was first introduced into the market as an LP in 1978, I was floored by the talent, producers and writers all the way. Once I put this puppy on the turn table that was it for me for days! Even today, I'll remark on how it's incredible sound and mix has yet to be matched with anything out there in today's market. The re-make of "Back In My Arms Again" was mastered by over all originality with in these guys as artists from the Flint/Detroit area. Plus the originals are very well musically writen that tie in with the lyrics and vice versa. A second album was done, mixed and ready to go but due to unfortunate times and Columbia records theory of politics and marketing went to another genre. So the LP's is in the hands of the unreleased authorities since 1979 through to today. "LAYIN'IT ON THE LINE" This CD rocks it right all the way home boys. Take it from me and get this CD today. "This CD is a lost treasure. I have been looking for this album since I read about it many years ago. Know that I have it.... I cannot stop listening to it. Flint was a creation of Don Brewer from Grand Funk Railroad. This CD shows the awesome talent that Don Brewer has. With a classic 70's sound, you will be surprised by the unriveld talent on this cd. And to a surprise to Grand Funk fans, Mel Schacer plays guitar on this CD. And future producers of GFR albums, Todd Rundgren and Frank Zappa play guitar on selected songs. I dont know why this was not on the top 10 Billboard but it seems that the media has continued to ignore GFR and its crew. Just take the time and purchase this CD. Listen to it in its entirety. Don Brewer is ahead of his time. Thanks AMAZON for making this CD available to all GFR fans."
