""Deep", picks up where "Inside", (Flipside's debut) left off, while at the same time expanding on their ambient/classical sound. This album retains the chilled soundscape that Flipside established on their first album, but this time some of the songs seem to have a "warmer" quality to them and I use the term loosely. (i.e. Sunday, It's Okay, & Hum Hub Hush Dub) Despite the fact that those songs have a "brighter" sound to them, they manage to mesh in seamlessly with the rest of the album just the same.



Even though this effort may not be as brisk as their debut masterpiece, "Inside", it does manage to stay chilled from begining to end. Regardless of a few shortcomings, "Deep", is still an amazing lounge/chill album that you will want, especially with summer quickly encroaching upon us.



Additionally, there are two bonus tracks featured on the Japan import version of this cd, Outside (Summer Remix) & It's Ok! (Boracay Remix). Both remixes are nice bonuses, but if you can do without, then the regular edition of the album should suit fine."
