CD ReviewsFantastic French pop Rock! Jason L. Danio | Temecula, CA United States | 10/11/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "This album is a huge hit right now it France. "Ma Liberté de Penser" and now "Je Trace" were/are both top ten hits in France this summer, with "Sauf Toi" waiting in the wings. And for good reason. Pagny has a strong, gritty rock voice similar to Bon Jovi. Aillers Land has a nice mix of ballads and rockers w/diverse, insightful lyrics. "Le feu a la peau" written by Daniel Lavoie of Notre-Dame de Paris fame is a beautiful, sexy, slow tempo song similar to Duran-Duran's "come undone". "Mon Amour oublie que je l'aime" is a well written relationship song that contains some of the best lyrics I've ever read. And "Demandez a mon cheval" is a fun, tongue in cheek, tribute to the loyalty and hidden wisdom of animals. Aillers Land is a great introduction to French pop for people like me that grew up on Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Queensryche and the rest of the 80's-early 90's rock bands. Check it out!!" I love this album! ukmumsie | Westerville, OH United States | 09/21/2003 (5 out of 5 stars) "J'adore Florent Pagny! This has to be one of his best albums. I bought it this summer over in France after hearing Je trace on the french music tv. I have some of his others but love this one. Even my kids love his music! Bonne Journée!"
