CD ReviewsKeepin' the legacy alive - No Doubt Maastarr | Atlanta, GA United States | 06/12/2005 (5 out of 5 stars) "I'm very happy to receive Taylor's second musical offering. Overall, It's a very serious album and not to be underestimated - a continuation of great written songs, backed by well balanced, well produced tracks. My favorites are: (1) We're Goin' Out On The Town; "A sure foot stompin', body movin' (Mid-tempo Dance Number) Floyd delivers those Taylor signature-styled vocals as the track builds, breaks & moves Into a fully-loaded, horn filled, back vocals, southern-styled foot stomper" This song Is full of flavor and sure to move a concert hall or blues party. (2) Baby, I've Changed; "Didn't quite make my favorite list, but a very nice track I think we guys can learn a lil something from" (3) Go Upstairs: "Great slow-drag number, One of the first tracks on the album to catch my attention" (4) Slipped, Tripped, Stumbled & Fell; "Nice, Relaxing...great ballad, Taylor signature-styled vocals, Nice guitar & piano work, sweetened by tender sax runs" (7) We're Goin' Steppin'; "Steppers get ready to step to this...Moves, with an R Kelly kinda flo'" (8) I've Got To Love Somebody's Baby; "One for the true-blues-lovers, Floyd really puts-it-down!!! a number originally done by his father, the late-legendary (JT)" (9) Unfinished Business; "Mind blowin', moody, and very sensual...chill the wine & light the candles, Lovers are sure to be captured by this flo' " Music for Grown Folks! misskay | Seattle, WA USA | 03/02/2006 (5 out of 5 stars) "Floyd Taylor is definitely singing for all the grown folks! (If you don't know what "grown" means, then you must not be grown yet). Grown women will really love this CD, "Hit it Right" does the right job in putting out there what real grown women are about. When I first heard "I've Got to Love Somebody's Baby", I thought it was JT, I found out later it was his son Floyd and haven't stop listening yet. Get your groove on grown folks, and enjoy this CD!"
