A really exciting album by a seminal, and mysterious New Yor

"A record unlike anything that's happening in so-called popular music these days. Fly Ashtray sounds like the Ventures and Buck Owens after a psychotic break. The song structures are really complicated, with quiet passages erupting in noise for no apparent reason and then retreating to the most placid and elegant quiet. They also manage to be really infectious, with great melodies and melancholy lyrics floating above the very coherent mayhem beneath. I strongly recommend this record."
So happy

"this cd was so cheap and came so quickly, that i was still excited when it came. a very underrated, quirky band. i just kinda forgot about them, and never really knew about this album for too long a time. thanks very much..."
