"I first caught word of Flybanger when they toured past me with Hatebreed and Sepultura, and while their stage show was not as impressive as Hatebreed's, they left enough of an impression for me to invest in a CD....and it was worth the money. What Flybanger does: play metal, and play it well. What Flybanger doesn't do: wear ridiculous baggy pants. Wear funny-looking masks. Scream and whine about their parents. Tune down to C. Use turntables. If you're on the verge of despair because of this seemingly endless march of cheesy heavy-rock bands like Slipknot or Korn, then Flybanger is the breath of fresh air you've been searching for. An actual dedicated band, with actual musicians who know their way around their instruments, playing real, straight-ahead metal music with a healthy dose of melody and harmony to boot. Headtrip to Nowhere is sort of a kinder, gentler Pantera. It charges ahead energetically with Cavalry, takes a short jazz break in Blind World, unleashes a ruthless melodic hook on Evelyn, steps in radio-rock with Demon Away, and ends with the cathartic, furious release of Company. And the tracks in between all make an enjoyable listen, as well. Do you miss metal? Then pick this up, you won't be disappointed."

"when i first bought this CD it was a random buy, down at a record shop where i manage to find many good random american / canadian bands who don't get any notice over in the UK. when i first listened to it i was relieved because i was expecting more of a nu-metal feel to it, which it doesn't have. what i got was more of a nu-rock feel. i think i like every song on the CD but especially 'crackballs' and 'when are you (gonna die)?' anyway if u like rock with a bit more power and heaviness in it, then this is probably for you."
AWESOME BAND!

"Flybanger, a band that totally rules. I love this CD as It's not your regular nu-metal CD. Sure, this CD is harsh, heavy and loud but a lot of the songs such as my favorite "Blind World" use melody to create an original wall of sound. The guitar riffs made of just simple power chords are backed up by Rob Wades confident drumming and Garths powerful melodic vocals. Since I got this CD which was about a week ago, I havn't stopped listening to it. I own a lot of CD's from bands like Korn, Creed, RATM, Sevendust and all that nu metal stuff but I rank Flybanger at the very top. Although this Flybanger have been around in Candada a long time this is there major label release. I predict that they will go very far and they deserve to. Original, melodic and powerful but the main thing is it doesn't get old quick. Go pick it up and enjoy!"

"well, the first song i knew by flybanger wass "blind world". it was on the dracula 2000 soundtrack. i instantly liked it, but when i heard the cd i was quite impressed. it is not the typical nu metal like slaves on dope, primer 55, dope, coal chamber etc. do. it sounds more like sevendust or staind with classic hard rock elements from bands like buckcherry, nashville pussy etc. it has some great tracks like "cavalry", "radical", "blind world", "when are you" and "company""
