"This collection of outtakes and b sides makes you wonder what else was left on the cutting room floor. This is intense music for intense people. Bleeding heart new age types stay away because Foetus will take you on a journey that will rip your soul in half, chew it up, and spit it bloody and beaten in your face. Quite lovely music actually."

"This double-single companion to Gash has remixes of what I guess would be the 2 singles from Gash & has some previously unreleased or rare songs from the Gash recording sessions. He spent 7 years on Gash & made hundreds of songs for it -- all kinds of brilliant stuff -- & honed it into a 12 song album. The Gash recording sessions had produced many many times that number. The songs released here are brilliantly, carefully composed Foetus chaos that are so great but just didn't fit the overall feeling of Gash. The remix of Friend of Foe is fairly similar to the version on Gash. The Verklemmt remixes are more technofied, & one of them is instrumental, no vocals. My favorite song on this is See Dick Run, made up musically of 2 very different halves -- the first with a keyboard that is almost happy-go-lucky but maniacal & plotting & with Jim Thirlwell's heavily distorted very flat vocal delivery of a twisted narrative; the second with densely layered composed noise with beautiful melodies over it, sinking into it. The song also features a great sample from The Brady Bunch: "baby talk baby talk, it's a wonder you can walk!" Other new songs on this have all different kinds of stuff in them. I hope this review has been helpful to you."
