"The Foo Fighters have really outdone themselves this time. Not only is the star of the single, "Next Year", a great song, but it's also one of the first softer singles they have released. If you've not seen the music video, it explains the story behind the song. This was truly a great choice for a third single from the CD and will make a well-deserved mark in the history of rock. Lead guitarist/vocalist Dave Grohl sings a melodic tune while strumming along with bassist Nate Mendel and drummer Taylor Hawkins. The song is nearly flawless! I recommend this CD single strongly to any Foo fan or casual listener. Enjoy!"
